Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities when purchasing goods from Interior & Exterior. By placing an order with us you acknowledge that you accept the terms and conditions set out below.

Pricing

• All pricing is quoted in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
• A delivery charge will be quoted upon receipt of order.
• Delivery charges will be provided after ascertaining where the delivery is going to.
• Installation is not included in the delivery charge.
• Special rates may apply to some orders.

Items in Stock

• Goods must be paid in full at time of purchase, before dispatch.

Orders & Payment

• Orders must be confirmed in writing by email, fax or post, by signing this form.
• An order acknowledgement form will be sent to confirm your order.
• Notification of amendments or additions to any order must be made in writing within 48 hours.
• A deposit of 30% of the total purchase is payable on placement of the order, and the balance paid before despatch of delivery.
• All goods remain the property of Interior & Exterior until paid for in full by direct deposit to:

• Deposit will only be refundable in certain circumstances (see returns and cancellations)

Delivery & Installation

• A delivery charge will be quoted assuming there is one delivery and precise site conditions are known.
• Should there be subsequent deliveries then an additional charge will be invoiced.
• Where part deliveries are made, Interior & Exterior maintains the right to invoice the customer for pro rata progress payments of those items delivered.
• Delivery is provided on the basis that the site is free of other trades and is within the hours of 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays.
• Clear and responsible site access must be provided with unrestricted lift facilities (if applicable)

Returns and Cancellation

• In the event of a warranty claim, returned products must be in new condition in the original packaging and contact the office of Interior & Exterior to find out where to send the goods, all within 30 days of receipt of order.
• Delivery costs on returned goods will not be refunded.
• In the event of an order cancellation by the client:
• Within 7 days of placing the order 10% of the deposit will be retained by Interior & Exterior in addition to any costs incurred.
• After 7 days of placing the order 20% will be retained by Interior & Exterior in addition to any costs incurred.

Delivery Delays

• In the event of delayed delivery due to client request, Interior & Exterior will hold the order in part or whole beyond the original date free of charge for one week.
• After this, the customer will need to make alternative arrangements for storage.
• No storage of goods can be accommodated.

Lead Time

• All lead times are subject to availability of stock from suppliers.
• Confirmation of delivery of stock is subject to the final order and product availability.
• Interior & Exterior cannot be responsible for delays in delivery due to strikes, shipping accidents, unavailability of materials or events beyond its control.

Warranty and Workmanship

• The finest quality of workmanship is guaranteed when you purchase from Interior & Exterior, but this excludes damage due to normal ware and tear, abuse or misuse of the product in a manner other than its intended use.
• Advise Interior & Exterior if the goods arrive in not perfect working order.

Liability

• Interior & Exterior accept no responsibility for installation or products being placed or located in an unsafe position that may result in harm to either persons or property.
